I specialize in neurological and immunological disorders, OB/Gyn, Sports Medicine, and stress related disorders. My training includes adjunctive therapies such as moxibustion, auriculotherapy, dietary and lifestyle recommendations, cupping, Tuina and Shiatsu. I am a member of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado and the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine as well as a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Colorado.

In August of 2008, I received a Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) from the Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado. This program consists of training in the five branches of Oriental Medicine:  Acupuncture, Theory, Biomedicine, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and Asian Bodywork and includes 1,095 hours of clinical practice.

I am certified as a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in October, 2008. This includes certification in Injection Therapy, Chinese Herbology and Clean Needle Technique.

Before committing my life to the study and practice and of Chinese Medicine, I received a Master’s of Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Colorado at Denver in 1993.  From there I worked as the Director of Development at Foothills Academy, a non-profit private school.  At Foothills I was responsible for reducing the $3 million debt owed from the Capital Campaign I managed, as well as the school’s Annual Fund. In 1983 I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree from Northwestern University, in Evanston, IL where I majored in Counseling.
