Lee Duhl is an experienced floral designer and owner of
Fleur de Lee Designs, providing custom fresh florals for all
occasions in the greater Golden, Jefferson County and the
greater Denver area.
Fleur de Lee Designs was initially established in late 2005
in Lexington, Massachusetts specifically to offer the town and
its neighboring communities a unique approach to the purchase
of fresh flowers. In January of 2008 the company was sold
when Lee and her family decided to relocate from Massachusetts
to Colorado. Once settled in Golden Lee determined the
town could benefit from a service like Fleur de Lee Designs and
re-launched the business in June of 2009.
Now operating from a cozy studio space within her Table Rock
home Lee works actively with her clients to craft distinctive,
seasonal fresh floral pieces of all shapes and sizes, with
customer preference woven into every design. As a
freelancer, Lee is indeed "free" to devote the time to assess
and address exactly what is necessary to meet her clients'
expectations. She is not bound by a pressure to
mass-produce or adhere to traditional floral practices, putting
forth a refreshing departure from other commercial, storefront
floral operations. Lee specializes in setting a festive
backdrop for intimate weddings, private celebrations and
corporate gatherings. Lee is proud to offer her clients
unique fresh floral designs for any occasion delivered with
exceptional service, agility, and reasonable pricing.
Lee attended the Rittners School of Floral Design in
Boston's Back Bay where she received the comprehensive
training, historical perspective, and hands-on experience
necessary to round out her understanding of the craft and the
industry overall. Her work has been featured at numerous
events over the years including "Art in Bloom" at Boston's
Museum of Fine Arts, as well as during holiday and special
exhibits at The National Heritage Museum in Lexington,
Massachusetts. Her service was also profiled in The
Boston Sunday Globe Magazine. She is a member in good
standing of the Greater Golden Chamber of Commerce and its
affiliate group, West Side Business Builders, (add link), and
the West Chamber (add link) of Jefferson County.
